FAQ

How to create a new balloon callout?

Creating a new balloon callout is very simple:

  • Hold down the Shift key + drag with the left mouse button to select the area to be marked.
  • Fill in the labeling information (dimensions, tolerances, etc.) in the pop-up dialog box
  • Click Confirm and the system will automatically generate numbered balloon annotations.
How to move the callout box quickly?
  • Press and hold space, click and drag the mouse on the label box to move the capture box
  • Release the space and resume normal operations (drag balloons, double-click to edit, etc.)
  • Suitable for situations where the recognition frame is offset and the position needs to be fine-tuned
How to delete balloon annotations in batches through frame selection?
  • Press and hold space, drag the frame in the blank area of the drawing to select multiple annotations and balloons.
  • After releasing, a batch operation menu will appear, which can be deleted with one click.
  • You can also use Ctrl/Cmd+Z or "Undo" on the toolbar to restore; you can also delete them in batches after checking them in the list.
What are the strategies for automatic balloon sorting?

Click the Sort icon at the top of the annotation list:

  • Group: By view, grid, dimension type, gauge, or up/down/left
  • Numbering direction: Reading order, column, clockwise, counterclockwise
  • For multi-view drawings, you can drag frames on the drawing to divide the views; when there are no frames, they will be automatically partitioned according to the blank space between the views.
  • After previewing and confirming, click "Apply"; individual numbers are still available in the list ↑↓ Fine-tune, or use custom numbers instead
How to adjust balloon size or color?

You can personalize the toolbar:

  • Dimensions: Click `[-] [100%] [+]` to dynamically adjust the button group
  • color: Click the "Color" icon to customize the color scheme according to the annotation type.
How to customize default tolerance?
  • Click the "Tolerance" icon at the top of the annotation list to open the default tolerance settings
  • Enable by label type, optional standard table or manual upper and lower deviation
  • Tolerances not marked on the drawing will be automatically applied and shown in blue in the list
  • After logging in, you can "Manage Custom Tolerance Tables" and create your own precision standards.
What are the important settings for exporting inspection reports?

Open "Export Settings" in the lower left corner of the export Excel pop-up window:

  • Quantity prefix expansion: 3×26, etc. Split into multiple lines according to quantity
  • Numerical accuracy: Unify nominal dimensions and deviation decimal places
  • Nominal dimensions with symbols: Whether to output Ø / R / ° / C
  • Insert balloon drawing / detail line filling: Choose one of the two, used for report layout
  • Analog measurement data: Fill the measured column by tolerance zone or Cp/Cpk
What file formats are supported?

The system supports the following formats:

  • Image format: JPG, JPEG, PNG
  • PDF document: engineering drawing PDF file
  • AutoCAD files: DXF format
